    DDR Machine Cost

About how much do you think it costs to buy one of the arcade DDR machines?

    Somewhere near $2000? Less? More?

And do you have to own an arcade to get one, or can the exeptionally wealthy also get them?

I searched on Ebay and the closest I could find were the arcade pads, but not the machine. The pads alone seem to be about $200 (one pad) for an automatic buy.

its probably cheaper if you buy them used, it'll still be in decent condition, since those things are made durable...

chances are, as newer versions are released arcades and other places will get rid of them and replace the machine... so they're more willing to get rid of it for a lowered price..

that's probably the best time you can get it...
that's what happened at a local arcade.. they bought the machine from another arcade where the use of the machine was winding down..

Yeah, about $4500 for a used one, although those things rarely break...

And I guess about $8000 for a new one.

If you're just looking to have one for your own personal use, you can buy a 3rd mix and an upgrade kit and shave off about $900 from the used cost, but it will both be used and your extreme machine will have 3rd mix banners and stuff.

Because clearly, they had Supernova in 2003. Nice bump.
