Mayhaps you can link us to where you saw DDREX2? There was a thing awhile back on BMS that had DDREX 2 and 3 arcade machines. They were eventually proven fake.

edit-The arcade near where i live has a ddrextreme plus. <3 for rate mods. Its awesome being able to play lom on 1.2. standard of course.

DDR Extreme was stated by Bemani as the last arcade DDR ever made. No more are going to be made in the future. Time for Pop n' Music and Beatmania IIDX!

I never saw the article or update or anything like that of them officially announcing ' no more arcade ddr '. There was some stuff about people misinterpreting(sp?! god damn..) what they had said.... got a link anywhere?

Yeah, if they were making a new one, I'd say they'd be close to finishing the new one right about now. Maybe if they did release, it'd be sometime in the Summer/Fall. Of course, that's only assuming if there isn't any work in trying to boost up other ones, or creating yet ANOTHER simulation thingy.

DDR Is not making anymore Arcades, because they poured everything into EXTREME.

Now home versions will still go on.

As much as I'd like to try ITG (i've tried it once on my trip to calgary) I don't want it completely REPLACING ddr. Because if you've got a cheap, but decent arcade around you, They are NOT going to go buy another cabinet, they're just going to ditch DDREX and switch it to ITG.... I don't want that to happen

Plus, about the new songs... there have been how many home releases since the release of arcade DDREX? And add them all up...how many NEW songs have been in htem? Seriously, throw them all together, chuck in an extra mission mode, and throw in all those origianls we love, presto: a new arcade ddr is born.

My local arcade has 2 DDR Extremes and one ITG. It also has IIDX and Percussion Freaks and Guitar Freaks. Best arcade in all of eternity.

Geez thats one great arcade. DDR is over, ITG will take its place, but will they make anymore ITG machines?
