when i read this post i was thinking "i can freestyle on do me......but i get dizzy" i actually just tried freestyling for the first time a couple days ago, i taped it if anyone wants to see

I can do a little bit of it on Abyss. You know where it's a run of like, 424242 and the likes? Left foot 4, pop it back and it the 2, then right foot 4, then pop it back and hit 2, repeat. Yeah... that's fun. I can freestyle more on Dance Maniax... but that's not hard to do really.

i can freestyle "lets groove" not well but i've memorized most of the patterns

Back when I was still restricted to 6-footers, I would sometimes do the point when the stomps came up on Last Message. I'm a firm believer in getting the technical stuff down before you even THINK about freestyling.

I can freestyle anything that isn't a 10 footer (aside from Bag and Sakura).

PS: freestyling is stupid unless you're trying to look like an idiot.

Or, you know, you already botched the song up completely and you're looking more of an idiot trying to hit the notes for a good score. Me... I want to flip back, hit one arrow with my hand, twist around, finish the flip off, and land on another arrow. Either that or do an entire black flip and hit the last arrow on Era with a perfect. You know, as long as I don't kill the machine... but still.

Have you tried HVAM Light? It's got a big break too, and since it's a light, it mostly 1/4 notes (some nice 1/8 crossovers at the end).
