I need to know... how do I unlock Max period. I know it's a stupid question but it's the olny song I have yet to get.

That song is only available for a Japan videogame release. Never released in Videogames in America nor Arcade machines.

Max.(period) isn't on ANY Japanese Arcade machines, hell, it's not on any arcade machines at all. It's only on DDR EXTREME JP. If you want to play it, then import, that's the only way..for now atleast... I suppose there's always a a chance of it coming out in a future US mix.

To reiterate what's been said:

Max.(period) is available in DDR Extreme Japan and DDR Extreme Japan alone. It will likely be in the next arcade game when/if that happens. No US releases, though, who knows, there might be a site you can download it from, not that I'd know anything about that.

Songwise it is a remix of Max300. All of 2MBs songs are remixes (I think). Say it with me now: 2MB is not Naoki.

Stepwise... it's hard. More specifically, it's really hard. Foot ratings:
Single: 3,9,9,10,10 | Double: 8,9,10,9

In Single, it is a 9-footer on light. On light!
The BPM of the song goes up to 600BPM. At this point on Heavy, you must do continuous 1/4 note steps. It's like doing 1/8 note steps on 300BPM (ie Max 300), except the arrows come at you fast. Very very very very fast (at least compared to what I'm used to in a dance step).

Here's to hoping that this crazy song will be in some American release just so inexperienced players can look at it and say "Wow, that is really hard, how can anybody do that?"

This song is F*ing crazy. I can't do it and i never will be able to. You need to whore ddr extreme jp to get it. lots of songs to play before unlock.

My advice to you is, if you want to play Max. (Period) all the way through, download StepMania, buy a pad, get a converter, and play it THAT way. Playing that damned song on 1.5x Reverse Dark to unlock it AIN'T FUN.

Well i did the converter thing and it turned out well. I got to the part where it goes 600 bpm. Hmm... I need more Amp.
