dance pad:which pad lasts longest?

alright, for christmas earlyer this year (almost a year ago) i got ddr max 2 with the dance pad (the one that comes with the game and pad in one). i played it for like 2 months and my brothers started playing (3 brothers, none ever played be4)and they were scruin it up. and then i told them they werent aloud 2 play with it or they would break it. so then a week l8r i go 2 a party, and while im gone they pull out my dance pad and play it. when i come baq i try and play but it wont work! so now its october and i realy realy want a new dance pad because im starting 2 suq again(i can only finish a phew songs on standard!i played it at my friends house). so now im wondering where 2 buy a new pad, and what one will last longest(and i need 2 buy 2 on an 11 year old budget cause im only 11 and i never get n e money). so that means not a hard pad or a metal pad. and not sum jacked up one that is supposed 2 have a special freature but doesnt make n e difference. and btw the one i had that broke was just a regular.

1) back isnt spelt with a q, neither does suck
2) you can buy a pad from best buy or somewhere like that....you can also buy them offline from www.redoctane.com and other sites...but im sure you can find them at a local store by you

alright sorry about the grammar, ive been using AIM for way to long. anyway, i looked at the dance pads u guys suggested and they are great! the only problem is that there a little too much money for me. the max im willing to pay for my pads are 50 each. and the reason i made pad plural is because now i want to get two pads so my brothers wont break mine. now remember, im on an 11 year old budget. second, i want one for playstation 2, not an xbox one or one that can go 2 like playstation and pc and xbox. now two questions ive been wondering about.
1) does the foam that u can place inside of some of the pads increase its life expectancy?
2) is there a material made for dance pads that u can place on the arrows so u know which parts are arrows and which r just next 2 it incase the pad moves.
