Does anyone know if Konami is going to make a DDR for Game Cube? Since they have two for PS2 and 1 for XBOX, shouldn't they "complete" the consoles?

RE: DDR for GCN
There will be a 2nd DDR on the xbox in... November? Anyways... They would also have to make a periphal for the gamecube, and I think Nintendo is just too lazy... As are third party people... Oh well... Just get a PS2 or XBox, they are better systems anyways... No offense to anyone that owns a Gamecube... ~cough~suckers~cough~Originally posted by Spec & ApersonWe Rate You: Cool Motherfucer. 9/10 -

Shut up Zajac. Just shut up.
No, Nintendo will never have DDR on any of its consoles. It's not because they are LAZY. It's because Konami doesn't want anything to do with Nintendo anymore in terms of new, popular games such as DDR. Konami is breaking off its relations with Nintendo and it's quite obvious with the mediocre 13 games they have between them; majority of which are sports games for kids.
Don't feel bad, UberChao. You can still play DDR songs on Stepmania with a PS - USB converter. Look around here or google to find out how. Not sure myself.

Hm... well, I already know how to hook up a PS2 -> USB cable to the computer for SM playing, and I have 5th-8th mix on the computer. I just don't have enough money for a PS2 (and just really don't want a XBOX) and I don't know where to get a PS2 -> USB cable.Comment

Should help. I think it links to an online store somewhere. My friend will be getting his there soon.

First of all, they ALREADY DO. I cannot understand why people don't get that. The broadband adaptor came out such a long time ago!
Second, even if they hadn't they wouldn't "be over". Nintendo puts out some of the most original games and continues to fulfill a standard that gamers are looking for. Nintendo has two things PS2 and XBOX do not have: Originality and Exclusivity (it's gotta be a word!). All of their games are original concepts and most of their games are exclusive for Gamecube only. Xbox has been forced to send many games to PC to gain sales while PS2 games have very little of that happening. Gamecube, however, has ZERO.

Djshox, my friend says with some modifications (I don't know if they are legal or not), he can play ANY 2-4 player game over the net. Whether he is lying or not...that's for him to know and me to never ask.
I believe the games so far are Phantasy Star Online, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Kirby's Air Ride, and 1080:Avalanche.
Some rumors say that the next Nintendo Console will have online capabilities as well.
BUT AT ANY RATE.
If you don't have any friends to play multiplayer on ONE console, that's sad. I can round up at least 20 people that would be willing to play multiplayer GCN games within an hour.
And at any other rate, this topic is about DDR for GCN. Which I've answered before. Make a new topic about your bashings of the best.

RE: Re: RE: DDR for GCN
I think it's kind of funny how Nintendo says their gaming system is supposed to be ONLY for gaming (i.e. no dvd player, music player, and the such) but they don't even try to expand their horizons when it comes to online gaming... Oh well... I think it was a pretty sour move for them to show off these uber sweet shots of the next Zelda game before the gamecube came out, then they do the Zelda cell-shaded game... Doesn't really show the kind of capabilities that the Gamecube avtually does have... Meh... That and most of the games, comparativly to xbox and PS2, are pretty childish and notvery graphic extensive... But I have to give some credit where it is due... There are quite a few games that are pretty cool, and I have to give them credut for coming out with one of the few MMORPG's on the market...
Squeek... Don't hate me... ~tear~
EDIT: Just as a word to Squeek's comment about Konami breaking off ties with Nintendo... There IS going to be a game called 'Donkey Konga' with the drums for the Gamecube... But whatever... That is mostly a Nintendo license though...
Also a little something else I found, and maybe you'd be interested in seeing it, but there is a petition that is being made to see if maybe Konami would consider making a DDR for Gamecube... HERE IT IS.Originally posted by Spec & ApersonWe Rate You: Cool Motherfucer. 9/10Comment

RE: Re: RE: DDR for GCN
Argh... I hate repeating myself so many times.
First: Konami did not make Donkey Konga. Nor is Donkey Konga a Bemani game. AND it's already OUT.
Second: The cel-shaded Zelda game was amazing. But that's not the point. The point is: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...wtopic&t=11435 . And that was back in May.
Third: Yes, I agree that Gamecube doesn't like to publish games with excessive violence or gore. That's been Nintendo's standpoint from the beginning. However, they counter with the ability to provide an original and enjoyable experience for all audiences. I'm 18 and I still love playing Super Monkey Ball and Pikmin.
PS2, GCN, and XBOX all put out an amazing RPG at about the same time; Gamecube's "Tales of Symphonia", PS2's "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time", and Xbox's "Fable". Fable was great for the amount of things you could do, but really, 10-20 hours is no longer long enough for a video game. Star Ocean and Tales are both incredibly amazing games that it's impossible for me to choose which is better. To put the second best in place to see which is first, you're basically putting either Star Ocean 2 or Kingdom Hearts up against Zelda or Skies of Arcadia. It's still a tough decision. Xbox has nothing else to offer.
Still offtopic. I think we should just rename the topic or something...

You can use the Broadband Adaptor and PSO to play Gamecube ISOs. It's complex, but possible. You can also use it to play any multiplayer game on a LAN or teh interweb.Comment
