i recently moved to another city and i was eager to check out the ddr scene. like one really exsits any way, but when i finally found the local arcade i was happy to know there was a ddr machine in town until i saw the pad. they had a fuckin mad catz pad hooked up to the ddr machine. how, and why they did this forced me into tears.

OMG Who would do such a thing?? That is the most horrible act of DDR vandalism in my opinion. I'm there all the way.Comment

RE: forced into tears
That may be the worst idea I've ever heard. One reason: Naki's Dance Pad Revolution 2 (I think that's the name of it) is the same price, 20$. Unless it has a WIRELESS MadCatz pad ololol. And also the cost of it in the long run because it would break so much X( But that's so sad..... What kind of evil people could do such a thing?Comment

RE: forced into tears
That's ridiculous. when you buy an arcade DDR, it comes with the damned original stage. why would they replace it with crap-tastic madcatz pads? do you have any clue on what happened to the original arcade pads?Ananana: Girls are so complicated. That\'s why I\'m not a lesbian.

RE: forced into tears
Could have broken.. the ones at the arcade I'm at hardly work. Player 1 is messed up so everyone uses player 2, and good luck if you try to do versus. On P1 left button is half functional, right button is BARELY functional. Up and down get stuck a lot.
But really.. they could do better than Mad Crap - er Cat.C is for Charisma, it's why people think I'm great! I make my friends all laugh and smile and never want to hate!Comment

RE: forced into tears
I'm pretty sure you can buy machines without pads. Used machines, though. So they suck altogether. The more reasonable explanation would be they broke, although they can get the arrows replaced, that's what my arcade did. The 2P side has been played on a TON, so you can hold freezes with, like, your knees XD It's good for MaxX Unlimited though, so you can use less stamina and still hold the freezes. But ANYTHING is better than MadCatz. They make great console controllers, but the pads are WAAAAY on the other side of the scale. I still can't believe an arcade would do that, though. They make enough money on the machine, the ABSOLUTE WORST they could (eh, nevermind, SHOULD) do is a $70-ish thick pad from RedOctane. And that in itself is just awful. The idea of a DDR machine in an arcade with MadCatz pads is ridiculous beyond comprehension.Comment
