i was reading the thread BAREFOOT and i play barefoot but if u are really good u don't hit the bolts or anything u just need really good footing.

i've played both ways, i have no preference, pain means nothing to me. I play most often with shoes b/c it takes less time and effort if you just leave them on.

I would never play on a metal pad barefoot just becuase I've heard it's plain old stupid and you can get hurt.

However, i would never wear shoes on a soft pad. I prefer to be barefoot at all times.

Barefoot is harder for me but I do play like that from time to time (like if i go to the mall and i'm in flipflops/sandals) I can't do any hard 9 footers bare foot so bleh. anything harder and i MUST have shoes.

i can do any songs without shoes but with shoes its harder for me because when i do it at home i do it without shoes so that is what i am used to

Why would u want to play with ur shoes on. First of all you get to be faster because u are not held down with the weight of the shoes. But of course you get ur feet to be messed up but if u have really good footing u don't hit the bolts or metal. I have done it for so long that i really don't get to hit the metal and I am used to without shoes because i don't use shoes at home.

Why would I want my feet to get beat up is the real question. I wear shoes there because I can, and because I only weigh 87 pounds and need all the weight I can get to hold down those freeze arrows.

I play socks on my home pad and shoes at the arcade. I weigh 135 and I still have problems with freeze arrows.
