osu!'s disliked cause people that play osu! don't really play other rhythm games and tend to assume that any music that is in the database is "from osu!"

So basically the average osu! player doesn't care about rhythm games.

Not I didn't say osu! was bad (the scoring's kinda wonky tbh, but the gameplay's pretty fun, especially on mobile), but the fanbase is all sorts of

Hating Osu sounds like a good way to make Osu players come here to tell us why Osu is great even if we don't really hate it.

tbh, I hate LNS in Osumania, but I'm okay with the rest. I also feel like I have to buy a tablet to play Osu with circles and I don't feel like investing here for Osu alone.

Just personal choices really. I had fun on standard Osu back when the majority was using the mouse. Now I feel like using a mouse is the same as playing FFR with one hand. You can do it, but you're unlikely to compete.
