Corrupt-A-Wish

This is a cool and fun game.
I used to play a long time ago and I thought it'd be fun to try it here with you all.

Corrupt-A-Wish plays like this:

It starts with a wish and being as I am the first poster, I will have to make the first wish.
Then the second poster has to first GRANT my wish true, then proceed to CORRUPT my wish.
Then, in turn, make a wish of their own.

Here's an example:

Me: "I wish I could fly."

Second poster: "GRANTED. You begin your flight into the night sky.
But you soon realize that you are being followed by a mass of hawks, bees, and seaguls.
Still wish you could fly?"

I wish I had lots of money.
-------------------------------

This is a fun game when people follow the rules and participate.
Now lets begin.

GRANTED. You walk up to the store and buy a pair of expensive shoes and you realize you only have FFR Credits....

Granted. You go to Hawaii where they churn you up for canned pineapple rings. (Very yummy)

Granted, but the turntables launch the records off of it and into the crowd, killing someone, making you go to jail for murder.

Granted, but then you're a full hour late to your work because you usually have it set an hour slow and you get fired. No other job is ever available, and you die.

GRANTED, for ultimate protection, someone tells you to wrap yourself in plastic. You then suffocate.
