Stupid ad's on FFR game.

I know numerous people have complained about the new ad's on FFR. But this isn't a complaint. I'm actually laughing at this...Look at the date..And it says pre-order..So..People..Post the ad's that you think are increidly stupid...Er...I think this is a games thread...

How about we don't sig these things and how about we thank FFR for remaining free and doing their best. Putting these ads in your sig will result in a ban.

If there are ads that you seriously bother you, lets start an official thread and I will eliminate them from rotation from the 80,000+ ads available.

I was like "last warning?" and found this. Synth, are you serious 80,000+? I usually see the same ten or so rotating. But I did post in the other thread my ideas on where to put the ads. Does the place where the ads are affect anything? Like... in google ads, you are either paid for clicks or views, depending on which is highest. Is it the same with this ad place?

No i wasn't meaning it as anything against the FFR website Synth. I was just saying that some of the ad's are like..Old..And have no point. I could care less if they were here or not. I know you take money out of your pocket for this site. And I repsect you for that. I was just making a game to point out the really retarded ads. =(

Some are kind of funny, like the Super Mario one, press ( ->) to take Mario to the pipe? haha, but at least FFR's still free, no complaints at all with the ads.

Ads = income. This is the only reason they are on the site. The ads suppy Synth with some money to pay for the large server cost he has to pay each month in order to keep it free for us. This way he doesn't have to pay out of his own pocket 8).

I appreciate the offer to donate, but in the larger picture of running things around here it doesn't help all that much. I would much rather you save your money or buy yourself something with it. Even if you could donate a few hundred dollars, you would have to do that a few times a month and we would still need ads.

By far, the most important contribution to the site would be posting a link to FFR on other sites. It is way more valuable than a donation.

I really want to know if Synth gets paid by clicks or views by google (since google goes to whichever one you'd get more income from). You could then donate by clicking the google ad sites. I'm kinda iffy on the new ones. I wouldn't click them. Not because "omgz, looks bad" that everyones saying, just some are bad sites and I'd rather not risk it.

the "this week's top travel deals" should be removed. When scrolled over, it maximizes and takes up half the screen.

Well, I just started a job where I'm being paid ~6$ an hour on top of tips, and there isn't a whole lot I'm looking to spend money on. I'm going to college, yes, but it's community college and I have a lot of money set aside for school.

Not really my intention at all, but I am really amazed that it would take so much money to simply remove those kind of ads completely.
