Xyr decides that Iggy isn't worth following for now and heads west. He walks through the grassy plains until he comes across the Rocky Mountains! This region is a sight to behold; it has countless, looming mountains towering overhead that reach the sky. On the ground is a hard surface made of rock, which stretches out before his feet. This region is dangerous for the reason that many avalanches fall daily. In fact, there is a 25% chance of an avalanche falling, which would cause 1 heart of damage from direct contact. Luckily, Xyr does not get hit today and is safe from falling rocks. However, he encounters a much stronger monster than he has previously seen. The monster has 8 hearts, does 2 damage per hit, and looks ferocious! It's a black dog that has three horns and sharp teeth, and it growls at the approaching adventurer in anger. This monster, however, does not speak. Xyr immediately attacks its horns with a ball of fire, damaging the monster for 2 hearts. The monster retaliates by jumping at Xyr and slashing his stomach, dealing 2 hearts of damage to him. Xyr tries a different tactic by creating a large ring of fire that encompasses the monster in flames, damaging the monster for another 2 hearts of damage. The monster roars and tries to bite off Xyr's arm, but it misses when Xyr sidesteps out of the way. Immediately, Xyr casts a spell of fire that engulfs the monster from the ground upwards, damaging the monster for 2 more hearts of damage. The dangerous beast tries to stab Xyr's leg with its three horns, but it misses again when Xyr creates a forcefield of fire surrounding him just in the nick of time. Xyr finishes off the dog by creating fire shaped like an arrow to pierce the monster's head, leaving a hole where its face had been. Xyr wins the battle and receives 2 exp, reaching Level 2 and gaining an additional 1 exp. Xyr also receives 40 sharps, leaving him with 100 sharps total!

edit: how much does a red potion actually heal? and do they get used automatically if I'm losing a battle? I would like to kind of clarify that and if I need to specify, say that yes I will use them if I'm taking a beating in battle

no one will know unless someone uses one XD
I now know that mage's are the most beneficial fighter class because they don't gotta buy jack at the start for weapon.

by the way, already updated the Spreadsheet to include the latest Day 4 update as well as cleaned it up a bit to match classes.

This is very important, so please keep this in mind.

Red potions heal 5 hearts, and each potion can only be used once. In addition, you *must* request to use a potion before or after a battle. The character will not automatically drink the potion during battle even if his or her hearts are low, so please remember to drink a potion when you're moderately low on health.

R3ce stealthily steps into the bazaar and is greeted with the owner of the shop. The man smiles and says, "welcome to my bazaar, my pride and joy! I can see that you're an assassin, so would you like to buy 2 daggers for 80 sharps? You may also buy only 1 dagger and save your money if you would like, but 1 dagger does less damage."

Please! Why thank you sir! *buys daggers and walks back to town, looking for jobs*

*I don't know what she'll do, but if she's receptive, I will tell her that I know nothing of this town, and ask her what she knows about it.

I will also try to take her close to the Specialty shop so I can see when a merchant arrives.

I will also ask about her parents and where they are, so I don't get arrested for child kidnapping.*

The girl in overalls smiles a little bit when she hears that Marik will be her friend once she talks with him more often. She wipes her tears and manages a brighter smile, her face glowing with joy. I know it's difficult to make friends with a stranger I just met, but I don't have any friends and I would really like to become your friend!

Marik contemplates the girl's request, and finally replies, "sure, that's okay. From now on, we're friends." The girl smiles gleefully and her face lights up like a candlelight. She happily replies, "thanks, I'm so glad! I know you're new to Evergreens, so would you like me to show you around town?" Marik says, "sure, that'd be great, but first will you show me the specialty shop? I want to know when a merchant arrives so I can ask that person for a few things." The girl joyfully obliges, and she walks him in front of the specialty shop.

When they arrive at the specialty shop, Marik asks, "by the way, where are your parents?" The girl dressed in blue becomes downcast and despondent. However, she quickly comes to her senses and says, "I don't have a mother; she died when I was little from a monster. My dad is the bazaar salesperson who sells weapons and shields. He trusts me enough for me to walk by myself during daylight, so don't worry about me."

Day 5 - Spring

Note: I will handle the rest of the Day 5 events of the people who didn't move in a direction tomorrow (or today if you count the early morning as a new day).

John Doe treads further north, walking along a seemingly endless plain of grass. Unfortunately, today was uneventful, and he did not find anything of interest.

Ignatius Flamebearer III, or Iggy, heads east, and is meet with plains of grass stretched out before him. He walks for a long period of time and stumbles upon a talking stone shaped like an egg. The egg exclaims, "why hello, kind sir! Have you seen my earrings; I seem to have misplaced them." Iggy replies offhandedly, "no, I don't know about any earrings." Iggy then attacks the monster impatiently, but the egg was too quick for him and it jumps out of the way. The egg then claims, "why did you attack me all of a sudden? Oh, I get it! You must have stolen my earrings for yourself! In that case, I'll take them back by force!" The egg lunges into Iggy's chest, but the egg also misses when Iggy grabs the egg while it's in midair and throws it on the ground. Iggy concentrates and manages to land a clean hit on the egg by slashing its outer-shell, dealing it 2 hearts. The egg retaliates by plunging its body toward Iggy's head, dealing him 1 heart of damage. Iggy finishes off the egg by swinging his sword down and cracking the egg open. He decides to cook it and eat it for lunch. Iggy gains 1 exp and gains 20 sharps! He currently has 9/11 hearts and 40 sharps.

The friendly partners Elmerz and Lucien continue walking eastward, continuing to walk along the Grassy Plains. Elmerz walks for a few hours and suddenly finds an orange cat with two noses meowing at him. Elmerz announces, "I will kill you in the name of justice, cat-fiend!" He then slashes the cat's whiskers off for 2 hearts of damage. The cat fights back by clawing at Elmerz's feet, causing him 1 heart of damage. Elmerz finishes off the monster by cutting off its head, and he says, "job well done." He gains 1 exp and gains 10 sharps to himself and gives 10 sharps to Lucien. He currently has 7/11 hearts and 50 sharps.

Lucien does not encounter any monsters and continues across the Grassy Plains uneventfully.

Xyr walks along the Rocky Mountains and gets hit by an avalanche, causing him 1 heart of damage. Xyr also encounters a green goblin who slyly giggles says, "give me all of your items and sharps or I will kill you." Xyr replies, "no way I'm doing that, you fool." Xyr then proceeds to burn its hand off, causing it 2 hearts of damage. The goblin retaliates by punching Xyr in the gut, which causes Xyr 2 hearts of damage. Xyr counter-attacks by burning one of its hands off, causing the goblin 2 hearts of damage. The goblin then claws Xyr's leg, causing another 2 hearts of damage. Xyr then sets the goblin's head on fire, causing the goblin 2 additional hearts of damage. The goblin retaliates by kicking Xyr in the shins, causing 2 hearts of damage. Xyr finishes off the goblin by engulfing it in flames, killing the monster. Xyr gains a level and is now Level 3, and he gains a total heart for 12 total hearts! He also gains 40 sharps, and currently has 140 sharps. Xyr barely stays alive with 1/12 hearts left.
