Why are all these STUPID stars appearing on the front page. Oh my god this is the most annoying thing ever. The text now starts at different points in the list when before it was all nice and ever. So so so so stupid. Please cut it out.

If anything, you could use the stars to your advantage to differentiate between posts in this forum and everywhere else (to easily skip past the ones in this forum or to easily find posts in this forum). If the star character is bothering you, I'll be willing to take other suggestions for characters (perhaps ♫ is more to your tastes?) If you'd prefer the star at the end of the thread title, I'll consider that too, although it is easier to notice it if it's in front.

lmfao i reeeeeaaalllly don't want to bump this thread because it doesn't deserve it but whateverrrr. :3 yeah reuben, i would prefer there to not be an indicator that a thread got ~*~*approved*~*~ at all. people have always been able to post what they want, a thread isn't a simfile that needs approving. if it's bad, delete it, it's that simple. you're just taking your ~*~*new position*~*~ way too seriously. that is all misterrrrr beeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnguin~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*`*`(*

The purpose of this whole thing is to foster more community and activity in this forum, and perhaps to even to foster good relationships with people in the FFR community just by having a good time here. With the way this is set up right now, an approval system like the one in the OP needed, because without, the system could easily be abused (by people making 100's of threads and getting a ridiculous amount of credits.) The purpose of the stars are simply for convenience, if it bothers enough people I'll get rid of it. Perhaps I'll consider and see about getting a sub-forum made for the approved threads.

People are still free to post and make threads at their free will, the approval system is simply for the point system. If you just want to play for fun and not posts, ignore the stars. If you just don't want to play any of the forum games, then ignore the forum. And I'm sorry if it seems like I'm taking a very "take charge" approach with my new position, I just want to some things to get done around here.
