Could I be re-named?

[DS' Guest Profile]

I've heard from Tass, that the apostrophe in my name is causing Skill Tokens and Tokens not to show up in my profile.

The reason for this profile to exist was to let me beat up some pals at FFR, also at Skill Tokens and normal tokens!

If it is possible, I would like to get the apostrophe removed and then you won't hear from me again.

It should look like:

DS Guest Profile

~and NOT~

DS' Guest Profile

Unfortunately, only special people get renamed. I think ZZ_Sprite was one of them.

EDIT: Apostrophes can do that? Maybe you're special enough then.

You technically CAN if the staff is willing to help, but seeing how you're still generally NEW, it's still not too late to turn back and just create an alternative account.

It'd be much easier for everyone if you register with a new account.

because apostrophes and quotation marks are often used in coding to show the beginning and end of a value. That apostrophe will make it seem like his name is only "DS"

it would be nice if we could switch our stats to a new account and delete the actual one.. and on the new account saying somewhere : Old Acc Name : *Username*

cause we can be bored of our actual one and i dont want to restart all over..

You technically CAN if the staff is willing to help, but seeing how you're still generally NEW, it's still not too late to turn back and just create an alternative account.

Last time I checked it's really not that difficult to have your name changed on a forum. I've requested this myself on other forums, and there was never any mention of a hassle. It could be different with FFR because the forum usernames are integrated with the game, profiles, etc.

I don't know about vBulletin, but I know on phpBB forums the administrator can allow the option for a user to change his or her user/display name at will.

Well I sort of agree with Irishknight that is the best way except, you do have a subscription on that account.

Yeah, I would just suggest you make another profile as well.

The only way to get your named changed is to beg an admin. And usually it takes a lot to get them to change it.

I remember it took Tibs like a year to get his name changed.

And he was very well known. You have played 35 games...

Just save yourself the trouble and make another one.
