I'll present some statistical data first.
Fei Longer
Difficulty: 9
Release Date: 12-14-08

Turbulence

Starlight

Turbulence's difficulty is sketchy since the difficulty rating was back from the avmiss days, where the file was obviously much more difficulty to score on because of the glitch. Turbulence basically just has a few minijack transitions that aren't too bad to handle, and it does a good job of avoiding one-handed minijacks.
Starlight takes it to another level and has some longer jacks with some notes ending on the same hand, but still manageable. These parts are also short-lived.
Fei Longer, however, has an ending with very long jacks. Like the statistical data shows, this file is harder to FC than Starlight and Turbulence. It requires some decent jacking control, too - it's not just all straightforward. Starlight basically has straightforward rhythms while Fei Longer has some jacks leading into short 32nd bursts or some gaps that aren't straightforward, such as shown below:

Of course there are several other transitions, not just this one.
With this being said, it's pretty hard to FC for a 9 when you have 10s like Starlight and Turbulence.
