I can't play R/\IN either. It gets to 97% and then just stops. And I only noticed it after it did the same exact thing when I tried playing Lawn Wake I. I should check if the other songs you guys mentioned won't work for me either.

OK, this is weird. The minute I left this forum after my post, I tried those songs again and they worked this time. Does that mean it's fixed or just dumb luck on my part?

Like I said, the issue will fix itself over time. Just wait patiently until it fixes itself or Synth finds out what is wrong.

To the admins: Run a checksum test on at least the files in question. At least MD5 on the original and MD5 on the machine you copied them over to and see if those MD5 sums match. My guess is they will not.

If they don't match, then checksum test everything, and note what doesn't match. Anything that doesn't match needs to be copied over again.

Also one aspect of the songs which don't load is resource usage SPIKES as soon as it stops loading. And the songs which don't fully load consistently don't load and include all of the ones mentioned here (as well as probably others too). Consistently AND reproducible (those exact files too) by multiple people using different engines and different operating systems.

Still doesn't load for me. Add "Comptine D'un Autre Ete Techno Mix" and "Rumia, Sealed Youkai of the Night" to the list as well.

How did you get it to load? Did you use a different computer? Because if the files are corrupted (and I'm not saying this is for sure the case) then the only way they would load would be if they were already cached on your machine prior to the switchover. This is why I am guessing some people can load these files but most people cannot -- because it's in their cache from before it got messed up.

Again I don't know if for sure this is the problem but I'd highly recommend admins use a checksum test to verify. A hard drive integrity test to check for bad sectors couldn't hurt either.

hXcalltheway, I know you're frustrated, but please try to be constructive and helpful rather than provocative. There is a real problem which needs fixing here, and we don't need this thread locked and ignored. I don't think you want that either.
