Easy Songs

I tried to get my gf to play FFR. She got bored with the few easy songs available (she mostly likes punk rock. Stuff like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhYYd5adVY4&feature=fvst)

So, we need more easy songs, and maybe a "Beginner" Genre that all the easy songs are placed in. You see just walls of 9-11s when browsing for songs. There are something like 5 1fts.

Agreed. That's what judges seem to be saying at the Queue/Batch thread since a while!

Ya, kinda do need some more real like beginner songs. Its just hard to submit them sometimes because you have the chance of it being rejected because the judge will find it "boring".

There may only be a couple of 1s, but anyone who plays with more than one finger should be able to move into the 2s and 3s pretty quickly. And there are a bunch of rock songs in that range (if not exactly punk rock). I agree we need more easy songs, but I think the number of 1s is pretty reasonable considering how quickly most people move past that.

Iv'e been working on some beginner files to send in. From level 1-5. I work slow though xD

She wanted songs she could PA/AAA like right off the bat. idk. Also she was bored cuz it took me awhile to find the easy songs.

I wrote a 1ft song, but I was too lazy to send it in before the deadline. It was a kickass chart too. Ya know, if 1fts can be good.

I think the levels beginner players actually can enjoy are 3-5s.

1-2s are only for initial practice, even for most beginners (we can have these levels a bit more though).

More non-blue note three's and fours would be nice - I have a beginner friend who has trouble FC'ing anything
