Volume Control please :( Admins read!

Hey, hopefully Synth or any of the other Admins read this.

Does anyone else get really annoyed about the music that plays in the FFR game while you're switching between songs, and the only way to turn it off it to navigate away from the page or pick a song?

I'm not saying the music is bad, but sometimes it can be repetitive and you just want to turn it down a bit while you're listening to other things, and sometimes you just want to mute it, but we cant.

I talk to my boyfriend through Skype, I can't hear him at all through the FFR music, even when he's turned up all the way through Skype settings and computer.

Maybe we should consider some sort of volume control for the game? Does anyone else agree with this?

1. Skype should have an automatic volume altering function.
2. If you are using Windows 7 or Vista there is volume control based on each application.

If you're a supporter, there's a neat little Mute on / off button..

But if you're not a supporter, that engine / option is not available.. ):

Go get Fiddler (http://www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2/).

OK, now, FFR's background music is at http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/sounds/plains.mp3. You can use Fiddler to replace that URL with a blank page. That doesn't change what's actually on the FFR website, but it makes it so that when your computer loads that mp3, it doesn't actually load it but instead gets a blank page, and that means that no background music will play at all.

It does, it only goes so high. FFR adjusts to my computer settings and so does Skype. It's either they're the same volume or I have to turn Skype down. =/ Yeah I was told that Windows7 had that, when I get money together that's what I'm doing. Windows 7 is yummy.

Alternatively, you can download Ad-Block Plus for your browser, and block the plains.mp3 URL.

I'll re-work mute back into the game eventually, until then just pretty much do what was mentioned.
