    An issue with C-Mod Settings.

Reposting my comment from the frontpage:

Blarg! Whenever I’m playing with 1.75x speed the game “lags” a bit. It’s not the game lagging, it’s the notes trying to catch up because of the .## difference in C-Mod. The game doesn’t seem to have any issues when I’m playing with a speed of C###.0, but anytime there’s decimal numbers it lags & doesn’t register notes / keystrokes.

I have circled the area where the C-Mod numbers are located.

I hope you guys fix this because I’ve been playing with 1.75x speed since I’ve started (6.88 YEARS AGO). This was never a problem until just recently. I have tried this on multiple computers & multiple internet connections. All are causing this same issue.

P.S.: No. I will not switch to a different speed.

This can't be the problem because even when the game ran off speedmod selection rather than input, the 1.75x was still a speed of 542.5 in game. Also, it works fine for me.

They probably changed how the speed mod works so that you can put any number. I think the problem is how that particular number doesn't directly translate into a even frames per second.

Previously 1.75 might have actually been 1.73 or something so that it would line up correctly.

I kind of just guessing so if someone wants to correct me that would be good. Try doing 1.74 or 1.76 or something. There would practically be no difference in scroll rate.

      Edit: Nvm, ninjaed by nsane.

This is exactly what I'm experiencing.

This is unrelated but I figured out that 1.935483870967741 translates exactly into C600.

No less decimal places works to achieve C600.

Edit: For some reason when I put that in as my speedmod it doesn't let me hit notes anymore.

Yeah. Because the notes are looking for a .935483870967741 difference in keystroke it seems. lol.

            EDIT:

I've just tried using 1x, 1.5x, 2x, and 2.5x. They all work without lag. Anything smaller than .5 increments causes lag wtf?

LIEZ! speed mods must only be a couple years old now.

That may be true, but screencuts worked just the same. (Bah. I forgot the term it's been so long).
