Sucks. Try a new browser, or get a new computer. Close out other programs you don't. Clear you cache etc.

If you're on XP (or I think vista):
      Hit ctrl+shift+escape
Find the process your web browser is using and set it to high. (possibly realtime but I'm not sure if it's safe)
Close any unneeded processes (warning: most of the processes that are just lingering around there ARE needed! Only close a process if you know what program it is). Especially turn off messengers, anti-virus scanners, etc. things that are likely to run periodically and do things.

      If possible, block ads.
      Set FFR's quality to low.
If all fails, try a different browser (IE, FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari)
And if all that fails try a different computer.
Also, turn off any plugins you're not using (assuming you're in FF)

Try closing your browser and re-opening it. If you are using firefox, you will notice some memory leaks and stuff.

Ad-block Plus has worked SERIOUS wonders; I can play FFR on the .php that it's supposed to be played on, I don't need to use the .swf anymore.

I noticed it was the ads that sometimes slow FFR down, so I zoom in so only FFR the game flash is showing. . . Helps alot.
