I read the bug report faq, see nothing on challenges so:

I've been getting bombarded with challenges lately from random people and the year 1969???

Aside from that, after winning these (simple) challenges, my score always reads 9999 arrows. This is pretty bizarre, can anything be done about these challenge oddities?

yes. the date sent is wrong on challenges. and the 9999 perfects is there also. we know about both issues.

So one might go so far as to say that it is a "frequently asked question"? Perhaps it should be added to the FAQ.
