Old songs >.<

I bet a thread like this was already made, but today ive been working on AAA'ing songs starting with easiest, and going upwards. As i was going upwards i noticed how bad those old songs are.. Really. The songs are all blue arrows, with an annoying bg that messes you up (example: Skellybones), and are offbeat, like.. REALLY offbeat (example: Too Tight, Terror from Beyond) and lol, even I cant AAA those without retrying 5 times and getting lucky.

I just am wondering/suggesting perhaps if there's anyway to remake those songs, but with no bg, and colorful arrows so it looks nice =). And make them onbeat.

really, everytime i play terror from beyond and see jump arrows... it makes me want to cry.

what are your opinions on these old songs???

It's already an established fact that it won't be changed. Synth (I think) wants the files to remain this way because it shows FFR's past or something along those lines

As offbeat as they are, AAAing them gives you that much more respect due to their difficulty. Plus, it IS one of the only remaining links to FFR's dark and distant past...

I love them.

They require a different kind of skill than the rest of FFR.

I've only got two left, SSSG and Zelda, arguably the two hardest.

Darn! I don't have that skill because most of the time I'm on beat lol.

EDIT: also i just AAA'ed one of those old songs that i cant AAA. But it didnt register because the damn game crashed. There goes another dream.

SSSG is also just an awesome song. I also kinda want to make a ridiculous V2 for Salad for your Tuesday.

:O there should atleast be V2's of all the old crappy songs, so that people will stop bitchin about it. Then FFR will still have its old songs.

Salad For Your Tuesday is coming up soon on my AAA list.. Perhaps ill skip that then if its as bad as you say it is.

I think if every old song had its own V2, then only the V2 would count on lvl ranks, not the old songs. because you could be able to AAA a challenging song, but not be able to AAA legend of zelda, just because your too skilled, your unable to AAA it. (because of offbeat arrows. lol)

I've wanted a Terror From Beyond V2 for a while myself. "Jumps" that are actually jumps instead of really strange gallops, for example, and just getting crazy in certain parts. Maybe if it was a skill token...
