Japanese isn't the only language on FFR, so maybe Venetian Snare songs translations would be nice. (German? No idea.)

Also, jimerax sent me a pm about Love Coloured Master Spark XD. Might wanna change that.

i'd feel weird changing love coloured master spark to something completely different. people would be confused as all hell. song's been in-game for 6 months now.

what is the issue with it? i don't follow when you go into japanese mode.

The issue:
The current title is nowhere near the actual song title.
The current title is the name of ZUN's original song.
The changed title is the name of the LUV2 remix in romaji.
Jimerax pmd me that Koiiro! Shissou Mahchin! in romaji would be better than translated into English.

Resolution:
Change Love Coloured Master Spark with Koiiro! Shissou Mahchin! This is the correct title in both jimerax's and my point of view. As for people getting confused... I see no way of circumventing it. If necessary, make news of it?

OR, just leave it be and hope there will never be an issue with LUV2... which I don't strongly suggest.

Haha, if jimerax doesn't mind, I want to learn better Japanese. lol. Never received corrected education. I got to the point of being able to speak, read, write, both formally/colloquially from initial parental education and everything else from manga/anime/video games. So my knowledge is lopsided.

I don't understand the desire to rename all of these songs from one language to another. Correcting any mistakes in the name is one thing, but completely translating it is another. It's going to be really hard to find anything now.

Agree 100%. If anything, I think keeping the japanese names help to identify certain songs and are interesting. As it is, I can easily tell when something is jpop-ish and whether I want to play a song like that at the moment or not.

Haha no. The name itself is wrong. Love Coloured Master Spark is a clearly and most explicitly WRONG name. We're not translating it from English to romaji for no reason and it's no one's fault that the name was wrong to begin with. Therefore, we fix it. Please read before you complain.

If translating to romaji, why not translate it back to english? If you're going to fix it, you might as well fix it all the way so that everyone doesn't get lost in translation. I think you are the one that should work a bit on comprehension and critical thinking before you post.

Why translate it to English? Keep in mind translations from Japanese to English are not always correct, and besides, it still keeps the song title intact if not somewhat intact.

The song's already in English and said song is the correct name anyway, just a remixed version. Might as well just add (LUV2 remix) to the end of the song so that the players know what the song is. (Like I said before, if you abruptly change it straight into romanized japanese like that, the users will get confused. Not everyone knows how to speak japanese).
