before you read this don't take it as an attack because it's not supposed to be. i re-read this post and it seemed somewhat like an attack and considering the fact that many people have recently been interpreting my posts as attacks, i'm mentioning it now.

99.9999% of people don't know the difference one way or the other... and none of them will therefore care. and i'm sure the majority of those who may know the difference don't care either.

I care. Even if the majority can't tell the difference, it still matters. An author of a song titled a song for a specific reason and meaning. Having a song titled incorrectly and not really doing much about it is a sign of laziness and disrespect to the song author.

finally... every time you guys put something up in japanese, i just see question marks. that's right. no japanese language pack for this guy.

if you're using XP stop being lazy get your cd if you have it go and add a new language and the CD will install it o_O
or if you can't do that google a japanese language pack or something. takes like 3 seconds. thing is though, I don't think they work outside of internet browsers or for certain fonts (i dont know), haha.

like i said... if you tell me it's wrong (because i have no way of knowing myself... i don't know japanese, and i can't take the time to double check every file submitted. gotta trust those who submit them), i'll fix it.

if it's a translation issue where it may or may not be accurate, but one meaning is better than another, and who knows... etc etc... then i'm keeping it as is.

also, i'm not fixing Hadazumi Rittou since Silvuh (the guy who stepped it and the guy who submitted it to me) is also the artist, Schizophrenic Raccoon. Aka, he's the one who named it that way.

if he comes in and tells me he wants it changed because he named his own song wrong, i'll change it. otherwise, *shrugs*.

also, i'm not fixing Hadazumi Rittou since Silvuh (the guy who stepped it and the guy who submitted it to me) is also the artist, Schizophrenic Raccoon. Aka, he's the one who named it that way.

After the file was released, he IMd me and asked me about Japanese terminology for his next songs. If I remember correctly, I also told him about Hadazamui. I'm gonna go check once I can reach him.

Right now, Love Coloured Master Spark is the only one left. I'll update as new songs are released.

Actually, Silvuh does have the song titled as "Hadazamui Rittou". He sent me the mp3, as well as the file awhile back before it got into the game. "Hadazumi Rittou" must have been a typo when it went into the game.

Ok, now that the names are/will be changed, what about my second question? Touhou is a respectable game. Shouldn't all Touhou remixes be in Arcade? Lunar Saturation is. This isn't as serious or as necessary as the name changes, but just out of curiosity.

some of them, at the time, i didn't know were touhou mixes... and also, at the time, the rock genre was really small, so i added a few that had a clear rock sound to the rock genre to fill it out a bit. that was pre-widgets.

Hmm, the fact that some songs are translated while some stay romaji is a tad bothering... but it's not necessary to change it so I think Mou Uta Shika Kikoenai can stay as is. (For informational purposes: もう歌しか聞こえない = Only Music Can Be Heard Now) (Woot Lyrical.)

Hmm, I'm not too good at Chinese but, for informational purposes: Naisyaodakunyan = Nai Xiao De Gu Niang

I'm extremely sorry, Tasselfoot. After saying all of that stuff about respecting the artist and all that... I messed up on a song title.

画竜点睛 reads Garyuutensei. Not Garyoutensei. Ryuu=dragon. I'm extremely sorry. I'm embarrassed myself. I realized when I was making the Xi pack for my Amateur Artist thread... I think I mixed it up because the initial mistake was Garyo. The o must've rubbed off in my head. I'm extremely sorry. Again, I'm extremely sorry. I hope you are kind enough to change the name again...

As for Naisyaodakunyan, it does become Nai Xiao De Gu Niang. However, without the accents I can't really do it correctly. Still, both translations don't make sense.

Nai = Milk (if there is another word that can be from nai, I doubt that it's the case since in the song the way they sing it makes it sound like the word for milk)
Xiao = Small or smile; I don't know since the accents aren't present but I do think it's the former by the way it's sung.
De = possession (works the same way as the no particle)
Gu Niang = (young) Girl

So basically Milk Small pretty much doesn't make sense unless you make it xiao nai but then again girl of small milk doesn't make much sense either but uhhh its mosaic.wav so who knows they could mean uhhhhhhhhhhhh O______o

I don't really think having translations as the song title is a good idea (if that's what you guys are planning to do; I haven't read everything)...having the roomaji as the original or even better actual characters are better IMO. I think a better idea though is to have like a translation: blsafasdga in the song info in the game haha

I just checked up on MOSAIC.WAV's website and it's literally, word for word, " (young) Girl of Milk Small" which really does not make any sense. Also, it really should be Naishaodakunyan since it's stated as ないしゃおだくーにゃん

I browsed around again and I see it being called 側偄偟傖偍偩偔乕偵傖傫 which uhhh pretty much makes no sense whatsoever
