jx is japanese, yes.
and, uh... i just today removed the accent from the e in Hiszekeny. Flash doesn't show the accented e, so i figured it was better to make it a normal e. same in this case.RIPComment

Re: Rename song please.
The song is officially titled "ようこそ!ヒミツの雀バラや!?" which means that, yes, it would be janbaraya. Suzume is more than likely pulled from the kanji (雀, meaning sparrow) which is, in fact, read as suzume.

oh god I'm late on this
Haha, yeah. We seriously need some permission
In addition, I was wondering how there could be numerous titling errors until you pointed out the thing about dBu, haha. stuff like dream battle -> the dream duel, hehe.Originally posted by DossarLX ODIWhat's the point of using drugs anyways? Re: Rename song please.
LOL The title is definitely not Love Coloured Master Spark. The original surely is, but not the LUV2 arrange. The name in brackets underneath the song title tells you what game bgm this is a remix of.LUV2

恋色!疾走ま~ちん = Koiiro Shissou Ma~chin = Love Coloured! Missing Marchin'
Hmm... the word shissou 疾走 is hard to translate. It generally means for someone to go missing because of some unknown factor. What would you call that in English terms? Or, maybe you can reword it so it becomes Love Coloured! Marchin' to Go Missing?Last edited by Xx{Midday}xX; 04-21-2008, 09:30 PM.Any FFR song title discrepancies? List them here.

Re: Rename song please.
vanish? I don't know, since it's not 100% accurate. Vanish is probably better than disappear, though. Lots of Japanese words don't really have single word English translations anyways.
i thought 恋色 was koiro
*edit* behan, if that's directly from "恋色!疾走ま~ちん" that's wrong, so I don't know...because what is a definite thing is that ま = ma and ちん = chinOriginally posted by DossarLX ODIWhat's the point of using drugs anyways? Re: Rename song please.
Hmm. 恋色!疾走ま~ちん♪ The Touhou Project pack titles must be completely screwed up then. 恋色 can be read as renniro or koiiro, but I'm more fond of koiiro. 疾走 is しっそう which can be misread as sitsusou (しつそう). The deciding factor is the Ma~san. ま~ちん can and is only read as Ma~chin. Ma~san would be ま~さん. Besides, if it was ま~さん, there would be no meaning to the word. The meaning should be Marchin'.
EDIT: Yeah, what omgitznpv said. I take way too long writing. This is probably not even a ninja'd anymore.
Also, if people want more jpop on FFR, someone please go step RINGxRINGxRING by OSTER Project, Miracle Paint by OSTER Project, Honest by OSTER Project, Vocaloid With A Crush by OSTER Project, Vocaloid in Love by OSTER Project, etc. mp3s can be gotten from OSTER pack in the chitchat thread.Last edited by Xx{Midday}xX; 04-21-2008, 09:40 PM.Any FFR song title discrepancies? Re: Rename song please.
99.9999% of people don't know the difference one way or the other... and none of them will therefore care. and i'm sure the majority of those who may know the difference don't care either.
if there is a blatant issue with something that is specifically in japanese, i'll fix it. but if it's a translation... don't expect it so easily.
and midday, you don't need to take it so seriously.
finally... every time you guys put something up in japanese, i just see question marks. that's right. no japanese language pack for this guy.RIPComment

Re: Rename song please.
Hmm. I see it as a matter of respecting the artist. I mean explicitly putting the name of an artist's song wrong on a public music site such as this is very much the same as offending the artist in question, or even abusing the rights of using the music that the artist so generously provides. Especially if there are people telling you that the name is wrong. Muzie is the only site that has this on it's usage policies, but I'm sure it is the same for every artist. I would be quite offended if any of my music got named incorrectly on FFR. Shouldn't it be taken quite seriously?99.9999% of people don't know the difference one way or the other... and none of them will therefore care. and i'm sure the majority of those who may know the difference don't care either.
