No real point in making a poll. Just let an admin response to our want of more updates lol.

I don't have the money or the credit card. I subscribed once, just to test beta, and I can't anymore. And I don't really feel like spending every credit I own to try to get someone to get me one.

There have been tons of threads with this exact topic. They have a reason for evading this question.
You could always subscribe. $3 is really cheap for everything they give you.
That's where it all ends up at, folks. End of discussion... I guess. Mods may end this soon enough.

つまんないシグでスマソ(´・ω・`)
I'm pretty sure that "We're working on it, we'll implement it as soon as we can" isn't a dodge, it's a perfectly reasonable answer for them to give.
It isn't going to be the case that player wants and company policy will dovetail perfectly all the time. Maybe despite the fact that everyone is whining about avmiss going public, there are other things that are more important to the company's success and survival that need attention. Would you rather have the avmiss fix done and public in a week, or would you rather the company make some new deals that generate them enough new income to hire two or three more coders and make all future implementations that much faster?
Sometimes the issue-of-the-week has to take a backseat to long-term planning and labour.
I think it is a little ridiculous to demand complete transparency about what administration is doing with their time and money. An update every day describing what they worked on, for how long, and what they had for lunch is frankly none of our business as users.
We aren't a shareholder's meeting, we aren't a board of directors. We're people using a free service (Though some of us are paying for the ability to avoid a few things like ads etc) and while we have every right to ask questions we want to know the answers to, we don't have the right to throw blame around if we don't get the answer we want when we want it.
Sometimes the answer is justly "none of your business" and sometimes the answer is justly "It'll be done when it's done"
There are all kinds of reasons why administration won't necessarily be able to tell us exactly what its working on. Maybe they're in negotiations with a company that doesn't want that knowledge public until terms are come to (Perhaps a major record label, or hosting service, or whatever) Maybe some coders were hired to do specific work for specific payment, and the company simply isn't also in a position to pay them more to work on other things.
Main point is: As much as we like to think that we can dictate policy to the admins, and certainly if we're that upset we can leave which will hurt their revenue, people really need to stop getting so personally offended that sometimes work takes longer than we think it should.
If you seriously think that the administration of FFR is mishandling their subscriber and ad revenue, and not generating the level of work you're expecting them to provide for what you're paying for this service, then that's an issue you can have, and you should take it up with the administration rationally and most importantly privately.
I don't have the money or the credit card. I subscribed once, just to test beta, and I can't anymore. And I don't really feel like spending every credit I own to try to get someone to get me one.
The amount of credits people ask for is just way too much for a small subscription to some extra features.
I even had a suggestion that there should be a fixed price on how many credits=subscription bought from someone else.

Also, some people just don't understand that people who aren't subscribing most likely CANT subscribe for themselves at all. instead they waste posts "get a subscription like all of us". I think free players would've subscribed if it was possible for them to. Aren't i making sense here?
You know, I'm very tempted to rule that from here on out, anybody who even starts to think about implying that the avmiss fix hasn't been released as a way to force people to subscribe as a cash grab should get a 1day ban for being an ignorant troll.
Dev I understand what you are getting at, but maybe you are missing my point here.
It's NOT that avmiss fix has been delayed.
It's NOT that I expect updates everyday.
It's not even that I expect to dictate what a company decides to do because I am part of the community it serves.
All it is, is I want to know that it's being delayed. I want to know an estimated time, and if that elapsed time passes, I would like to know it is being delayed again. The kicker behind all this Dev, is not that everything is being delayed. It's that we were never told of it's delay beyond Tass mentioning something during the FMO/FGO event. I would MUCH rather them spend their time and effort on something much more important that a release of something that fixes a major bug. The fact remains, we were told of something being released, in a elapsed time, the time passed, and no word from ANY admins.
I just want to be told it's being delayed, rather than having some type of an audio contest if that's what it takes.
I just want things to be told, and an explanation. I'm not asking for some drawn out response that reveals secret information. Just "We had some more bugs we had to fix, we are working on it, we will keep you updated on this" would suffice. But we haven't gotten any word AT ALL.

But come on, it just seems like it is. If you think about how the admins evade our questions, and start other updates on widgets, and contests, and site layouts. They kind of pushed the avmiss aside. And to think they dont give us some info on why.. That would make me think its just to make people subscribe. Sorry.
Edit: Also

I understand that COMPLETELY. But im just saying.. as users.. we are gonna be impatient. its our job. And letting us know whats going on will stop the forum threads about "why hasnt 'this' been fixed yet?" or "When will the X be ready?". Because if the admins let us know about this stuff beforehand.. The forums would be cleaner and there wouldnt be much arguement and fighting about it.
We don't want complete and utter transparency (well, at least many of us don't), that is ridiculous for you to insinuate, devonin, but is it so hard to throw out a sentence or two in a news post to keep the public hounds at bay?
A lot of people understand that we are using a free service too, that's not an issue as far as I can tell.
Main point is: We don't need to know everything that the administration is doing, what their next projects are, who they're hiring, what they're eating. No, we simply don't. And no one is asking for that. If they are currently talking to a record label or something and do not have any time to devote to the avmiss fix, then can we just get a "avmiss fix is being delayed due to such-and-such reason". Such-and-such doesn't even have to be all inclusive. Tass can say "avmiss fix is being delayed due to lack of manpower, and future project planning". That's a good enough reason for me.
It's like I said earlier. I don't care if the avmiss fix is delayed, but what I do care about is being left in the dark.
EDIT: Ninja'd by Mystic, but he echoes my sentiments as well.
I haven't seen any admin besides Tass even commenting on this at all. And I know for a fact that he's been incredibly busy with work over the past several weeks. He's been putting in 14 hour days, and frankly I'd rather not make him have to come into these threads and deal with all the accusations and hostility and blame after 14 hours of work trying to make the site as successful and great as it can for the very people who are complaining non-stop about something that was the status-quo for like five years.
Sure, it sucks that a fix is right over the horizon and isn't here yet, but it was how it was for 5 years. Surely another couple weeks isn't actually going to kill anybody.
Foil: The thing is, people were agitating for some information about it, and were told "Yeah, it's been delayed, we should hopefully have it ready by the end of the event" and then it wasn't FOR WHATEVER REASON and now everyone has redoubled their efforts of complaining and being upset. Given that, can you not see why he wouldn't want to make another public statement?
If he says "It's been delayed, we're working on it" people will be complaining that he didn't say how long it would be.
If he says "It's been delayed, should be done by X" if it isn't done by X, the complaining will get even worse.
To be on top of everything and getting everything that needs to be done, done is sometimes hard and stressful to do. I think the administrators should be given a break on this. They have done a lot already, and still are doing a lot. As for updates, sometimes myself I feel like not disclosing some information to some people until I feel ready to do so, usually for some good reason, sometimes it's just I either want to take a break or am too busy.
