just to point out... in the results screen, you can view your personal best on the level played as well as your current rank on the song. that isn't good enough?

You bring a valid fight for it. Think it this way. Gameplays are 2 for 1 now. You play 2,000 games, but really, you've only played 1,000 games. Thus making your statistics look off, for the gameplays you've played.

How about you just fail out the song and if your best rank on it shows up as 1 then you know that you AAA'd and all you would have to do then if you haven't is hit replay song... not that difficult.

Also why is the score after you finish a song so off center now?

The point of this suggestion is so that you don't have to waste gameplays to view your statistics on the game. I have over 8,000 gameplays, and i'm almost positive that half of them are from booing out, and autofail and etc. To see the stats of the game. Thus making 8,000 gameplays to get to my rank... and i've seen people play like 4,000 and around that area to my rank, even lower w/ skill.

At Jaito: I'm like you. I booed out and auto-failed some 1000 songs. But besides that, I hate having to go back and forth to levelranks to check if I FC'ed or AAA'ed a song. This would be so helpful and save me so much time. Plus, I'll have definitive proof if I made an amazing record and people questioned me. That'll shut 'em up.

At Jaito: I'm like you. I booed out and auto-failed some 1000 songs. But besides that, I hate having to go back and forth to levelranks to check if I FC'ed or AAA'ed a song. No one cares about gameplays. I normally just boo out and find out if I AAA'd it. Although I used to have a spread sheet of my levelrank. I excluded my AAA's and then sorted the entire thing by which songs I haven't AAA'd and by difficulty to see which were the easiest to AAA.

But, this feature would save me some time I guess. It's useful but I don't think that the admins would jump right on it and start to work on this. Good luck, though.

who cares about gameplay count? from the official standpoint, we don't. it even helps our numbers. we get to say we have more gameplays/day because of those boo-outs and fails, etc.

so... my advice is not to be lazy. check your results screen. or your levelrank. or beta level reader. or make an excel spreadsheet.

this isn't to say that your points aren't valid... they just cater to too small of our userbase, when such similar options are already available if you just take a few extra seconds.

So why did you reset that one persons game plays from boo'ing out of excite bike over and over and over, he had the number 1 game plays from that.

The only reason that I could think of is that it he made a top list by doing that. No one cares until your name actually shows up somewhere.

It shouldn't matter, as he stated "It adds to our gameplays to make us on Top" So if a person would like to boo out of songs to have a high list, it shouldn't be deleted over and over. Such as this was a suggestion, and like I said, Whether you think so or not, people do base overall rank/average rank on gameplays.

The only way I support this would be: if a person has AAA'd a song, have a little yellow star pop up beside the song name when you click it once. That should be enough.

in the results screen, it tells you a number like
Your best: 1,000,000
FFR best: 1,000,001

This tells me nothing about how many perfects, goods, avs, misses, and boos I got in my best. For example, u get like 4200-17-0-0-1 on vrofl for your record, I can't look at a number and think "Oh, I need to knock that boo off." I can't even look at my level ranks and say that. There is no way to tell if my record was clean or not unless you do some advanced math to break the score down. It would be a helpful feature to make it easier to size ranks down and clean up scores.

AGAIN! THIS IS TO SAVE BROWSING AND TIME TO SEARCH.

For one, the beta reader takes a bit to load on my comp. Secondly, I have to search for the song I want, which at the time I really don't care unless i'm in the game itself, and i'm like hmm, I haven't played this in a while. Thus seeing my score, im like, pfft. I could pwn that score.

In anycase it's a "SUGGESTION"

Take it or leave it, because we "members" are trying to give our input on what "WE" want to see.
