Ive read some of the TWG threads, really just one but I understand the concept.
I played the original version of the mafia years years back via this game hub (You could program lower end games and release it to the hub and people could play it.../ Was not browser based... You DLed it.).
Anyway, I know TWG is based off of Mafia so why not make an online version of the TWG.
Basically it was doen like this...
-You could pick an avatar of sorts for your character and you can move your guy around the tables and such. (This was just an add on but gave it more of that murder mystery feel.).
-The game would assign your your roles.
-The game starts and the screen turns black (Except chat and such..) and it goes 'Everyone Sleeps' or something along the lines.
-At this time it would go around and have the players pick there actions. On the screen you would see 'Mafia choose somebody to whack.' followed by the other players actions and no one could see what eachother picked, etc etc..
-Then everyone wakes up and it does the whole 'Somebody has been murdered!' or 'Somebody was trying to kill so and so but Doctor saved him' etc...
-Then you call get to chat in the box and discuss who did it and vote, etc. Also the people who play the rats can commincate to the mafia IF they know who they mafia are while the Informant can find out who everyone is and communicate to mafia, etc.
Basically, it would be cool if Synth or Xelius could come out with a flash version Mafia/TWG for the next game. Just a suggestion.
I played that game a ton when they had it on this gaming hub. Ill try to find the program again to link.
