    Suggestion?

Okay so there's a lot of new players out there in mp and stuff...but then there's a lot of lvl 20s or whatever that play too. The point i'm getting at though is that if a level 20 makes a new acct there's a lot of new players that would be defeated by them, get frustrated, and maybe quit?
Like i just see it happen way too often...a supposed lvl 6 or something comes into a lvl 5 room and creams them because they aaa'd that song the lvl 5 has picked.
Anyways I think when people sign up there should be a limit as to how many times one can make a new acct...which should be just one. Is there a way to do it by IP address?
And if the person has siblings and then they want to play that would be a problem because the sibling wouldn't be able to sign up..so maybe have a limit of making 5 accts on that IP address?
I don't know...like the new players try hard for their level and then they just get creamed by some disguised level 20. It just bothers me a little but that's just me.
I'm sorry if i'm wasting your time but i just wanted to bring this tiny problem out here.

    Re: Suggestion?

The suggestion is fair enough, but it won't solve the problem completely. I had people experiencing the same thing when I first joined because I had been playing Stepmania for a year. When I came to FFR, I could already pretty much AAA Challenging rated levels. So, in multiplayer, my level was very misleading.

      Re: Suggestion?

if someone is a lv. 20 and makes a new account, it shouldn't take more than 10-15 games to get back to at least lv. 10+, at which point there should be less complaints.

i speak from experience, having taken about 15 different accounts from lv. 1 to lv. 22+. it's an issue, sure, but in the scheme of things, it's extremely minor. and, really, there isn't anything that can be done about it.
