Maybe a PAUSE button??

This was previously discussed. Here's what the final idea was.

Have a quick easy to reach pause button. When hit, the screen will go black in order to prevent you from seeing what the next few arrows are going to be. If you do not think you will be able to continue the song, once unpaused without messing up, then it is your problem for hitting pause in such a spot.
