you mean the printscreen button and a photoshop like software
and the cutting and the saving and the whatnot

I mean like you press printscreen, open up paint or a similar program, press ctrl V, save it, then upload it.

it also can be a way to provide authenticity
every screencap can have a code+date, the info will show on the screencap itself and also will be send and saved in the database
and when needed you can check if indeed the score that shows in the screencap was played at the same date

yeah it would make tourneys easier too! like set it up so you can re route the peoples scores on certain songs for certain players to a different part of the data base that they would be kept. then your tourneys would be easier to keep track of cheaters too. so instead of us submitting it it organizes the best score in the order of date. im suprised tass or synth hasnt replied yet

Ok, if everyone included a code, date, and username of who got it, then this is actually sounding good to me now, as it would make cheating much harder. Username should be there to make it harder for someone else to get a score for you.

also not 100% of gameplays need to record to the database
info will be sent only when pressing "screencap score" and a code-date-username will be created

on that thought maybe there is room for a "send score" button for unrecorded runs
so you see the score is dead you press the button and the run records = win

Yeah! I like it, sounds like a good security/anti-cheating feature.

I support the idea, I just hope it's doable xD.
