Also, I've had tons of scores that didn't record, but they've never botched the displayed variables like that before.

I've seen plenty like that before. Look through tass' thread for posting unrecorded scores enough, and I bet you'll see some. Plus it used to do that every time anyone played Balls of Malt, but that's fixed now.
