Different file size limit for avatars?

Well, I deleted my avatar, in hopes of trying to get another avatar to work (just trying everything i could), but now I can't even load my old avy!

This is my ratelimit:

How come she gets to have a bigger file limit for her avatar? I'm a subscriber, if nothing else I should be able to have 80KB or so.

uploading from your comp req a lower file size you need the url for the pic

I tried to upload from computer and url. THE EXACT SAME ONE I HAD!

And still, the file limits are different (24.4 to 48.8)

Anyway, have you tried resizing your old avatar? I doubt it'll make much difference anyway...

Why should I resize it? I had the link saved along with the original pic, and it uploaded fine when i did it. Now it won't work =\. and if I resized it to fit, the size limits are still different.

Oh I see it's the amount of KB that's the problem. You're probably better off PMing an admin, they know more about this site than any of us.

yea. i just looked through every option of the admin panel that i could find.... and couldn't find how to change it. which means i likely can't. you'll need LD, Jason, or Synth.
