I would like to see a ATP system... obviously the better players wouldn't be on it. There'd be a point where if you have say, x amount of ATP's, you aren't included anymore, and have to go to TP.

Take me for instance... I've been playing this game for 4 years and only have 2 tier points... that's why I'd love an ATP system.

But, i don't like the idea of like ATP. Everyone can get TPs if they practice a few hours everyday for a few months =]

its either you play for amateur tier points, or normal tier points. they are both independant, they have nothing to do with each other.

and doug, there should be tier points for unlocking vrofl =O

Ok, so here's my thought, ATP's should be a WHOLE separate list, a little harder than what you guys have listed, but not too much. The reason why it'd be good to have ATP is to give people encouragement(sp?) to go on and keep playing and strive to get better. There should be a thread of it like the actual tier points, that way the newer people would have to post in the thread to get on the list, and it'd keep all of the good people out.

I'd be willing to make a list of points for levels 1-4 IF anyone who has any power to make this happen takes this idea seriously (ld?), if not I won't bother.

Huh? What's your idea of a "unique" AAA? To me, it would mean that no one else had ever AAA'd the song, but I seriously doubt you have 2 of those type of AAAs.

By 'two unique' AAAs, he means he has AAAs on two different songs.

Also, I'm for this idea if LD can somehow formulate a way (as he stated already) that if you have over an x amount of ATPs, you'd be switched over to regular tier points.

I'm all for having the less skilled players working to get better and better. I think that there should be a whole seperate page for this, but not a top players board because if you're the best in ATP then you should just move onto regular tierpoints. Or have someone manually take out the pros.

My idea is that if you are on any tier on the regular tier points, you should not be able to do the amateur tier points.

(5)- AAA (91,450)
(4)- 5 or fewer (90,075)
(3)- Single Digit Good (88,975)
(2)- 20 or fewer (85,950)
(1)- 30 or fewer (83,200)

If that's one of the reqs, then I got a sightread 5 atps :P

No, my idea of a unique AAA would be an AAA that no one else had, like Rottel or BB Evo or something. I figured you didn't have 2 of those, so I really had no idea what you had 2 of.
