listen, theres a guy on here with an obvious obvious name. Chatlagger14. Come on, he comes into the chat rooms and starts spamming big time. My friend got banned for "spamming" when he was trying to get Chatlagger14 to stop. Come on people, thats not right! Chatlagger14 needs to be banned permanenlty, and my friend Heywohoheyah needs to be unbanned. this is unacceptable!

Re: Banning the obvious!
You're supposed to ignore the people who spam, then report them. They spam for attention. If you're constantly telling him to stop, he'll just continue to spam, because he knows he has an audience.
Also, if your friend continually told him to stop, after a mod told him not to, then your friend obviously isn't a good listener, and is only making the situation worse, despite his best motives.
I do agree that this user should be banned if he hasn't already, but a Screenshot of him spamming would be nice in order to give proof.Note to self Finish.Comment

Re: Banning the obvious!
there's a reason he's on chatlagger14. we've already banned chatlagger1 thru chatlagger13.
the sad reality is that beyond making him have to continue to make new usernames, there isn't much we can do.RIPComment

Re: Banning the obvious!
I don't think they want to IP ban is the problem. I have never heard of anyone being IP banned on this site, regardless of how out-of-line they are.
On the original topic, I wholeheartedly agree with GamerShadow. The best way to deal with a spammer is to report them right away and ignore them, as with trolls and similar kinds of forum-goers.
