My computer doesn't beep when I press keys... I don't get it.....Maybe I'm in the wrong forum........maybe I'm just high.....

Another way for people having trouble with yours, is to open Command Prompt and type ''net stop beep'' (Start > All Programs > Accessories)

Without quotations, of course.

The reason your computer beeps, is because it realizes that its not registering all of the keys you press. Now, doing all that buisiness cheese said will stop the beep, but your computer still wont be registering keys properly. In short, turning num-lock off allows your computer to register keys...better...or allow you to do "hands" (three or more keys at once)

My computer used to beep and thanks to you, it doesn't, yet it still won't register certain combinations of three keys, and thats really frustrating while playing Stepmania, Frets on Fire...etc. and yes brothaice, num lock is off. I think it's just my keyboard, so hopefully i will get a new one.

Your computer or your internet connection could be ones of lower quality, please check with your local pawnbroker.
