Posting Tax

Since the primary point of flash flash revolution is to play the game not simply lurk the boards, what if you were to impose a 1 credit tax per post, and players with no credits would not have the ability to post.

This would not apply to subscribers and admin's obviously, but I think it could cut down on a lot of spam and post whoring.

I guess it could cut down on some of the "noobish" posts, but 1 credit is ridiculous. I say 50 - 100.

Well first off it wouldn't help cut down spam too much. Example: a n00b makes many spam post then runs out of credits, he plays a song or two and goes right back to spamming. So it pretty much doesn't do any help. Nice try though.

Again still wouldn't do much help because you can get more than that from playing just one single song. The idea in general proly wouldn't work out so well, I don't mean to be rude and shut you down or anything.

Yea, if it were 10 credits per post, people like Moogy and Afrobean would have had to pay well over 100,000 credits by now, which is just ridiculous. Also, anyone that had played the game little, not at all, or as a guest, and couldn't figure out that they needed to clear their cache or whatever wouldn't even be able to post about it.

Then it might as well not apply anywhere, otherwise it would encourage posting in the wrong place to avoid the tax.

I really don't think that we're absolutely flooded with spammers and lurk-only members, so a tax really doesn't seem necessary.

you know, Some people dont play FFR The Game at all. Some play R2, or come to play Simfiles, download, etc.

Godnick has a valid point. So it would have been nice if there was some other way of earning credits other than playing games but i'd have to say no to this.
