Serious Problem with the FFR site

Yeah, so I have allways had problems with FFR running too slow, I mean, rediculously slow. It took me 30 minutes just to get here to post this thread. Usually, after about an hour of being on the site, FFR will kind of "time-out" and I have to disconnect and reconnect my internet, and restart my browser. Today, I would lose FFR every 5 minutes. Songs take forever to load in the game, and the forum pages take a long time to load also. Ive cleared my cache and all that, it doesnt help, the mirrors run the same also. I was hopeing that with the new server upgrades it would run more smoothly, but, it doesnt. Can anyone help at all?

Yeah it happens to me too. Like the page wont load at all on both FF and IE

Eh, I don't know. Happens to me every now and then. But not constantly.

FFR has been running fine for me. I notice that you posted this a few days ago, so maybe your internet was running slow at the time? Is it still running slow and if so, is it just FFR?

This is an interesting problem. This never happens for me and I am not the server. I am remote like everyone else. I would be interested in finding out if this happens for you on other sites because I know that this does not happen for me.

I've noticed that the FFR site was fairly slow the last couple of days, but its perfectly fine now.

PS What are your computer specs ?

Ok here are my specs. I am still having this problem. Although, I havent been playing "The Game" lately because of all the problems I am having with it, but I seem to be the only one having the problems I am experiencing.

The midgets have entered the building (or thread, if you will). This has happened to me before, but not as constantly as you say it does for you.

I believe it to be internet connection difficults. I could be wrong but, whenever i have difficulty going anywhere online, it seems to be the internet provider, modem, or the router i am using.

It definitely has something to do with your internet connection. Do you get poor load times on other sites?

Do you frequently lose connection? What type of internet service do you have? Broadband, DSL, Dialup, FioS? Do you go through any firewalls? Do you have an routers/switches/hubs enroute to modem/computer?

Im fine on other sites.

I dont frequently lose connection, unless im on FFR, in which case, only my internet stops working and my AIM works fine. wierd.

I have SBC Yahoo DSL.

No firewalls. I had Norton but the subscriptions up, I still have the little icon in my start bar though (next to the clock)

I use a wireless router.

This happened to me sometimes. I just wait a Day or two, and it's fine.
But this is only on FFR [Whole site]. Any other websites I go to are fine.
No clue.
