    New song question....

So I read the rules about getting author's permission to a song to use it on ffr... but what if it's a remix song? Like there's this techno song that's been completely redone into a new song by a different DJ, so would I only need the rights from the DJ who remixed the song since I'm using HIS remixed version?

you'd need the rights of the remixer.

if you are unsure... try doing a google search on remixing and copyright law. a remix is a legal way of re-doing someone else's copyrighted music and making it their own copyrighted music...

it just has to be an actual remix, and not plagarism.

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis
