Link to Artists' Pages/Info Ingame

It seems like artists who allow their music to be used in the game often do so for the publicity. Yet aside from the initial newspost about the new song, there's no resource where curious players can find out more about the artist on the site itself.

It seems like adding a way for users to find out more, either from directly in the game or a separate section on the site might make ffr even more compelling for those artists out there who might be on the fence or whatever. Perhaps even reach out to a whole different class of musicians (aka not just the struggling to get noticed).

Just a thought.

There are spelling errors in Nestlekwik's name as stepfile author. ctrl + f for "Nestlekiwk" there are a few instances.

ps i had no idea this song list existed... I've been meaning to make a comprehensive collection of an mp3 of every song from FFR, and this should help tons... if I ever get around to it.

the thread is stickied in ffr general.... and the song list is right in the statistics page of FFR, not to mention the HOMEPAGE itself.

If I'm a casual ffr player who has never posted on the forums (read: most players) and I stumble across an artist I like, my first thought isn't going to be "I wonder if there's a thread stickied about this in FFR General!" or "Maybe the statistics page with all the songs on it will contain a link to the artist's page!"

Plus, from the potential artists' perspective, having an easy to find resource that lists them, a small bio, and link is much more attractive than essentially just relying on people to remember their name and google them later.

Just add another record in the database to song that would save the artist's website (or if there is one already, just ****ing use it then ). I can't believe that would be very hard to get going (just time consuming to add thanks to there being SO MANY SONGS).

shash is working on adding the url's into the db.... i put him on this mission earlier today.

so, at least the songlist will have links for all the older songs
