Multiplayer issue with logging in

I can say I'm very stuck right now. I was playing with my friend and accidentally hit back, so i never really disconnected from FFR Multiplayer. I'm guessing this because apparently, I'm still online ....?!?!?!?!!? It just says that the user name is already taken, which I know is not true because I was just on playing and have in the past. Any ideas?
