How about some kind of noise to notify you that someone joins your MP room.
Because while im waiting, I sometimes go to other web pages and check my e-mail.

And sometimes other people do that to, not knowing that someone has joined their game.

happens to me all the time.... i usually remedy it by not making rooms and only going into other rooms. OR by asking in the lobby if someone wants to play, so i have a set opponent.

downsides... with waiting for others, you sometimes can wait a while to get an opponent of a difficulty you want to play. and with asking in the lobby, it can get annoying for everyone else if you are asking too frequently.

then again, if you just sit in a room and wait, you often get lv. 1 and 2 people wandering in who then won't leave until you play them.

Sometimes I go into other rooms, and I wait for 10 minutes and no answer, and that gets really annoying.

if you don't get an answer in 30 seconds, just leave. often times people get kicked out of the room (when you get that message saying that you're already in the room)... so they'll be stuck in there for up to 30 minutes. and as they're stuck, they can't answer you.

I think that is a great suggestion. I play other online games as well, and they do have beeps. Since game rooms tend to hold 150 people people are coming and going frequently. I've never run into a problem with wait time.
