    FFR Arcade Machines

I know this is a little out there, but have you ever thought of going through some arcade center and wishing there was a FFR Arcade console? I mean, I went around an Arcade Center once and I wished there was a FFR console with all the FFR songs and such, were I could show off my skills publicly. Have you ever wanted to see a FFR Arcade console and play on it at any Arcade Center?

Psh, why should they care? I mean, they can't sue FFR for it, unless the Arcade Machines contain similar parts or such.

Considering Komani succesfully sued Roxor for making ITG, I doubt this would ever happen.

Beatmania is about as close as you're going to get.

Don't forget Roxor sued Konami over the cabinets.

The keyboard on a machine would get abused.

You thought wrong. It was something else not an FFR cabinet.

If the arcade has internet access, your set.

I remember when a quarter use to cost a nickel.

I always thought having some kind of public Stepmania game would be cool, you could add songs to a system of some kind and ever expand the variety to play against others....just a thought I once had.

                              Re: FFR Arcade Machines

Could Konami seriously sue if there was an arcade cabinet that would play FFR?

I mean, it's not like FFR is really a dance game. It's not like FFR would be infringing on Konami's ownership of the 4 panel arrow dance game system. And it's not like an FFR cabinet would be simply a converted DDR cabinet (which is what ITG was to begin with). It'd probably be more like a classic arcade cabinet (think galaga or pacman cabinet) with a keyboard instead of a joystick/buttons.

The only thing I could see Konami sueing FFR over if FFR were to make an arcade cabinet is the similar name, and even then, it could be easily sidestepped by calling the arcade cabinets by a different name.
