Okay, I've tried everything and everyone- well not everyone. But why won't ffr read when I hit the arrow keys on my keyboard? Its really starting to annoy me. What would register as 'perfect' on my friend's computer decides to become a 'miss' here. And I know its not my keyboard, since I can play every other game online known to man and not have this problem! *sighs* Can anyone help me?

is your numlock on? or is it that you are trying to hit 3 keys at once. some keyboards can't register 3 keys at once... and trying to do so will result in them not registering.
that is about the only thing I can think of. most other games don't require 2+ keys being pressed at once or in very very rapid succession.RIPComment

I'm not using the 9-pad, just the four basic arrow buttons. And, yes, I have the window selected..."I went there of my own free will.

Then, like Tasselfoot said, your keyboard may not be registering 2 or more keys at once. Or your keyboard isn't registering the hits fast enough. But that depends on your keyboard. I suggest getting a new keyboard.Comment

having numlock on will sometimes make it so you can only register 2 key presses at a time... numpad or no. hence my statement about the numlock. other keyboards will only ever just register 2 keys. depends on your keyboard.
if messing with that i've suggested doesn't help, then as iaaw said... new keyboard may be the only solution.RIPComment
