I don't understand challenges...

I sent out a random challenge to somebody yesterday but nothing really happened with it. I never faced them or anything but my FFR sig says I lost the challenge. What happened?

Mmm.....

It may have to do with the server thinking that your opponent won the challenge. Also, your opponent may have won the challenge, but it didn't show up. You should probably check your e-mail to get the result of the challenge.

I see...I checked and I do recall that game. However I do not recall it being against the person i challenged. I was in multiplayer at the time and I was playing some person on Silence but I quit because the keyboard i was using was too poor quality. Apparently this was the match that counted for the challenge however I wasn't aware of this at the time. It was my first challenge so this was to be expected but it still leaves many questions unanswered. When the person received my challenge how did they know to play Silence when I was playing it? And how did it decide to use that song over all the other songs I was playing around the time I made the challenge? Is there a sticky in the challenge forum that would explain these things?

Well, after you fill out the form, you do a song, then it says, "This challenge has been logged into our database." Then, a message will pop up when the person you challenged plays the song, saying if you won, or lost.
