i went into a mp game at lvl 13 with basically no exp into 13 and the lvl 14 chose a song. id never heard the song, and there was a spectator so i left. i got out of multiplayer and played the song he picked so i could try it, when i was done it put me down to lvl 12

Who cares about MP levels.. they mean nothing. I actually preferred to be lower level because people would be scared to play you if you were 13+ heh

Sometimes theres a little bug with mp and lvls.
Say you enter a game and the person in the room is still playing a level (9 times out of 10 someone's getting owned, they leave and you join while the other person is still playing a song.) You dont wanna wait for them to finish, so you leave. This counts as a loss for you because FFR sees it as you left the room (quit) while he was still playing.
Best way to aviod this is to wait for the other person to finish.AAA's = 800

If the other persons circle is green, and you leave, you lose level, even if you dont play them or they were in the middle of a song from the person before you came, like Manti said.
