It's logical but I've said it many times...that's not what it is. I've asked other people and it hasn't happened like that exactly. It could be related but that's not the main cause. All it takes is one time where that's not the case to mean thats not the reason. I've had this happen to me at least 10 times.
Scoring bug...

It really depends on the song.. On the songs where the final arrow happens at least a second or so before the song ends and the game fades to the result screen, your last combo is recorded. However, on songs where the last arrow happens right at the very end of the song (e.g. Falling Into You), it won't record your last combo if it's the highest combo.
So, it's not that it's recording the first combo and keeping it, it's more like it's (sometimes) not recording the final combo, if it's your best combo. I don't know if full combos are still affected, though (none of the 2 and 3 difficulty songs are affected, as far as I know, and that one nasty part in FIY 60-70 arrows in gets me every time -_-)Comment

Just a little bit of further comfirmation. I was playing Massive and my only miss was 3 steps in (don't ask me how, it just was) and my max combo ended up being 3 even though I ended the song with close to a 345 combo. So chalk Massive up as another one of the bugged songs.Comment
