Hey, this is just feedback on the new FFRCHAT that was recently created.
Here are the positives:
1.) I like how there's no emoticons people can spam in the room, it's really good cause it does get irritating sometimes for some people.
2.) The small font size saves space for messages that you'd normally have to scroll up in the chatroom to check.
3.) The Help channel is a great thing that helps users with the new chatroom.
4.) The ability to use all keys, such as underscores for giving out emails and such, are a plus.
Here are the negatives:
1.) Auto-kick doesn't work for users who spam too many useless messages.
2.) The color of the new chatroom doesn't "fit" the colors of FFR, as the old chatroom used the brilliant colors of White and Sky Blue.
3.) This is probably known already, but the channel "HomeBase" (Local) doesn't work. You are able to type and enter messages, but nobody can see them.
4.) Let's say you go to the bathroom for a second and you recieve a new Private Message. Since it's not in a separate box from the window, other messages that are non-private will bump up the private message you recieved and eventually move it out of the chatroom, thus loosing your private message recieved.
5.) The separate boxes for video are a bit on the small size. And it seems that the transfer of Frames per second seems a bit more slower.
Suggestions:
1.) Separate boxes for the Private Messages.
2.) White and Blue colors.
3.) Keep the "Auto-Kick" function for spammers.
4.) Make the chatroom and cam boxes into one box.
I know that you put your hard work into this Admins and Mods (I think the mods...), and I'm not here to make the chatroom sound bad and all, I just fear that if some of these problems aren't fixed, FFRCHAT will have less users, more spammers, and won't seem as enjoyable as it was before the new version appeared.
