Idea for no more "OMG HACK'D SCORES" threads.

Somebody do the math for every single song on both R1 and R2, and have a sticky with a list of the highest possible score. Scores could be posted with secret arrows included and without.

This = less whining about hacked scores. I guess we'd still get the occasional "OMG ERASE THE HACKED SCORES" complaint, but it would help people to see how they really rank up against the legit players.

No thread should be needed. LD has a script that purges all scores above the max.

R2 MAX score can't be calculated, since its scoring system is too weird.

My thought on this was just making a big thread about "hacked scores", so that we can make those people who want to report those hacked scores not to create another thread.

Actually, it can. A score of all marvelouses would be the max possible score. Not sure how scoring works exactly to calculate the max possible score, but I'm sure Soccr would oblige us this inormation if it's truly needed.

My thought on this was just making a big thread about "hacked scores", so that we can make those people who want to report those hacked scores not to create another thread.

Didn't you know how R2 scoring system doesn't make sense.
Actually crappy AA scores often beat AAA scores which is also with way better MA.

It works where the later steps are weighted more heavily than the early ones.

So a score that gets all marvs and one perfect will differ depending on where the perfect was at. Getting the perfect early on will hurt the score less than getting the perfect late.

At least, that's my understanding on it. And R2B2 might even have a better scoring system ala standard SM scoring.

no, I know that happens DDR or SM. I'm saying R2 scoring is complete BS.
For extreme example, 500Marvs 495Perfs 4greats 1CB AA score SOMETIMES BEATS 999Marvs 1Perf AAA Score.

Really? That's weird... Cuz all you have to do would be to add a simple code as...

Something like that. [You'll have to insert the correct coding.] I wrote in C++. (or something like it...) But thats all thats needed... I mean, how hard is it to add that 1 simple little line of code???

No it doesn't. Run it and then check Dr. Wily Theme V2, Wish, Max Forever, Thinking Different, etc...I bet all of them will still have the impossible scores on them.

Ya, nait has had a cheated score on Max Forever for a long time now, and I think you probably hit that button somewhat recently, and it's still there.

The Dr wily V2 song: all of the top ten songs are more than the max combo of all perfs i just AAAA'ed it to check and i was ranked 11th :[
