Sometimes when the server's down it refuses to give you credits or GTS even though it still lets you play. I've had it happen.

Yup... if you arnt connected to the server, but have already loaded FFR, sometimes it'l let you play without giving you credits in return.. it's a bummer, and it's happened to me before too
